Will it always open the YouTube app?

App opening depends on the device, whether YouTube is installed, and the browser’s settings. Android uses a YouTube app intent; iPhone and iPad use YouTube’s app links. Some in-app browsers block app opening, so we also show instructions for opening the link in Safari or another external browser. No website can override those restrictions.
